- Does the child-minding cost money?
- The PAC is covering the cost of babysitting. If you would like to contribute $2-$5 we welcome e-transfers to [email protected].
- Will there be an online option?
- No, we are not able to offer a zoom option for this event.
- Will the event be recorded?
- Hopefully, yes! We hope to set up a camera to record the event for later viewing.

- Who is the speaker?
- We are excited to be hosting Kaylie Maughan from Community justice Initiatives, one of Canada's oldest restorative justice organizations.
- What is the presentation about?
- From the presenter:This presentation is intended to provide PAC, school staff and school community members a practical overview of restorative justice philosophy and how it works in practice in the school setting to reduce violence, bullying and harm and build, grow, and maintain a connected school community. The presenter will review the current ways restorative practices are being successfully included in schools around B.C. and what the longitudinal studies are showing as the outcome of using whole school restorative practices. Attention will also be paid to restorative school practices and their connections to current socio-emotional learning and methodology, the Ministry of Educations core competencies, and First Peoples Principles of Learning, and the challenges of implementation.
