We have many fun events and fundraisers throughout the year. Most of these are run by a small group of parents. Let us know if you want to help be a part.
ADVOCACY AND ASPIRATIONS
A PAC meeting is a place where you can bring up concerns or ideas for our children's education and experience. Feel free to email us with items to add to our agenda. The Anti-Oppressive Working Group (AOWG) actively works to help create a more inclusive school community. We are also members the DPAC and the BCCPAC so if you have a bigger picture idea or concern - for example funding, school closures etc., we can bring those concerns to those groups.

Fundraising
The PAC fundraises in order to undertake events and activities that serve to better the experience of Nelson families. Our fundraisers allow us to support classroom enrichment through teacher stipends and guest speakers, contribute to food security though the hot lunch subsidy initiative, and host community-building events like movie nights and spring carnivals, among or many other activities.
